The core platforming is among the best I’ve ever played but beyond that Mirror’s Edge Catalyst falls pretty flat due to a lack of story or purpose.
The lack of boss fights notwithstanding, The Bug Butcher is a really fun bullet-hell game with an entertaining little story.
